About the role The AssistantDirector of Finance will assist the Director of Finance in theadministration of all financial aspects of the hotel's operation,ensure that all local and corporate policies and procedures areobserved, supervise the day-to-day operation of the Accountingoffice.

What you will do - Thoroughly understand and possess aworking knowledge of the Accounting & Finance Manual -Excellent understanding of Month-End Process including, but notlimited to, preparation of financial statements, accruals andjournal entries, maintain reconciliations for all balance sheetaccounts in established corporate formats and in accordance withgenerally accepted accounting principals.

• Monitor and controlexpenses of the hotel paying special attention to the dailyreporting done by the auditor of the hotel and addressing issuesthat not only have material effect, but also effect the guestexperience.
• Ensure that House Funds and Floats Counts are up todate and limit any kind of exposure that would affect theprofitability.
• Assist the Director of Finance inForecasting / Budgeting - Plan, organize, lead and control differentprojects and activities within the finance team.
• Identifycoaching moments and ensure that those moments become opportunitiesof learning and development for the Finance team.

What you bringUniversity degree major in accounting or finance preferred. Three to five years of experience in the related position with FourSeasons or other organization.

Require a working technicalknowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, Four SeasonsInternal Controls, Policies and Procedures and job knowledge of allpositions in Accounting, Purchasing and Food & Beveragecontrol.

Require knowledge of and the ability to operate computerequipment and excellent Excel and computer skills. Sun, iScala andOpera Systems knowledge would be ideal and greatly valued.
